1. Image Data Processing & Storage

When you upload an image to RemoveAnyBG, it is saved to a private persistent directory on our secure web server to enable AI segmentation and browser-based canvas editing.

Retention Window: Staged upload files, source images, masks, and generated results are retained for up to 60 minutes after processing to allow you to preview and download your cutouts. An automated server cron job purges expired files continuously. You can also permanently delete your files immediately by clicking "Delete" in the editor.

2. Zero Third-Party AI Transmission

Your images are never transmitted to third-party AI APIs (such as OpenAI, Replicate, or Hugging Face Inference). All segmentation runs locally on our Hostinger Cloud infrastructure using locally installed open-source neural weights.

3. Cookies and Sessions

We use a single first-party session cookie (rabg_sid) solely for maintaining your guest session, CSRF security, and first-party support conversations. We do not use third-party advertising cookies, cross-site tracking pixels, or external analytics scripts.

4. Platform Backups & Limitations

While our application automatically unlinks and removes files from active storage after 60 minutes, our hosting provider may maintain disaster-recovery snapshots according to their hosting terms. Deleting a file unlinks it from active service and disk directories; it does not constitute military-grade cryptographic disk wiping.
